Retrospective 3 game ban for Rooney? [Gets off scot free]

Not one for diving, but the player should of go to ground leaving the ref no option........... but then again this is twatenburg
 
Who decides referee punishments, is it the head referee ?

This incident is quite clear, any raising of hands is a straight red, so either Clattenburg saw it, in which case he should be punished for giving the wrong outcome (its not appropriate punishment within the rules), or he didn't see it, in which case he's a lying twat. In either case he should be punished for his incompetence (or bent ness).

Wigan should (I know they won't) make a stand over this, even the two rags I was working with on Saturday night both said his behaviour was disgusting. I've not met anyone yet who didn't think a ban was in order.

I'd love to hear from the referee chief about what he is going to do about it.

I totally agree. I just got the news and it really makes me sick. Part of the reason for bans and punishments is to make people change the way they behave so basically the FA has told Rooney to "have at it".

If they had any class they'd sit him for three matches.
 
The FA should man up and change the rules ffs,the current rules allow for things like this to go unpunished and they know it. It allows them to duck and dive at will depending on circumstances that suit their agenda concerning top/elite teams. Of course clattenburg is going to say he saw it, to say he didnt puts him up shit creek without a paddle so he has the perfect get out of jail free card..
Paying fans deserve better than this,and as for the comments from fergie and his monkey...well that is just arrogance personified..

I`m sorry, why do you say he bottled it?. He didnt! he knew exactly what he was saying / doing if not at the time, certainly now. bottling doesnt come into it. Intent does, conclusion , one CORRUPT REFEREE (what a frightening concept) and he has previous!
 
Petition to get Rooney banned

Someone should start an online petition to see how many signatures we get in favour of Rooney being banned, provide evidence to why he should be banned and post it on all the major football forums, then send the FA the signatures :)
