city need to look after the die hard. All those on 22k plus loyalty points (about 2k) should get in to all games - they are the life blood of the club. IMO they should not be in a ballot. Let the corporate lot and jkl like andreas from dronfield go in the ballot.

you mean the old fogeys who are most likely to die if allowed to attend mass gatherings?

Be interesting how the brighton experiment went, all are in the track and trace system

I cant see a lot of older fans risking it,it will be winter and flu and covid ,just cant risk it

Where’s the fun in sitting in a virtually empty ground sweating behind a thoroughly pointless mask, having to arrive early and leave late and all the while having to indulge certain showsec minimum wage numpties who will be absolutely in their element for a few hours of their unfulfilled lives.

For an important game it might just be worth it but not for the vast majority of games

Let me guess you have 22 k l have been going since 68 but for various reasons I only have 19k
It sounds like I am all right jack fuck you
I shudder to think how many points I'd have by now if they'd handed out loyalty points when I started in1959! For well over 10 years (mid 60s to mid 70s) I averaged around 50 matches a season and all I got to qualify for big match tickets were defaced away programmes and tokens cut out of the home ones. Then the inevitable all night queues to get the ticket.
When I got married, the away trips dried up, then, when the kids came along, everything stopped for a few years. I've now got around 12K, so, once again, I'm buggered.

C'est la fucking vie.

100% shouldn’t go to loyalty points. You already get the advantage of away games. Why should you get home games? There are probably a couple hundred blues who buy away tickets just to sell on to keep the points. I’ve bought many an. Away game on here. I don’t see why you can’t do 1/3 of season tickets week 1, 1/3 Week 2 and 1/3 week 3. If you don’t get United or a Liverpool then so be it. You’re going to watch city , not the opposition

Oh heck we’re not starting the “I’m a bigger blue than you“ malarkey again are we?

A ballot for everyone who wants to go to the game is the fairest way, at present, with the person named on the season card that wins being the only one who can attend. If you win and find you can’t attend for some reason then it goes back into the ‘hat’ to be redrawn.

Once you have won a ticket in the ballot your number is taken out for the next two or three games to give everyone a fair chance of attending at least one game.

JMHO

That sounds ok but imagine winning the game before the derby.

This is daft, surely the people sat behind others are a bigger risk than those to the side, it would be better to be sat 2 or 3 seats apart back to front ? I'm constantly showered in spit from behind, even 2 rows behind struggle to prevent that if people are abusing the referee or players.

There seems no plan there at all, some sat directly behind each other, some seats apart, and a group of 7 or 8 (behind and left of number 17), who are all too close.

Might as well fill every seat if that's how its going to work.
