This is daft, surely the people sat behind others are a bigger risk than those to the side, it would be better to be sat 2 or 3 seats apart back to front ? I'm constantly showered in spit from behind, even 2 rows behind struggle to prevent that if people are abusing the referee or players.

There seems no plan there at all, some sat directly behind each other, some seats apart, and a group of 7 or 8 (behind and left of number 17), who are all too close.

Might as well fill every seat if that's how its going to work.

There is one seat gap in each direction it is harder to see vertically. At the Emirates/Arsenal (not the 2 other grounds) the seats are so big it would be pretty safe, but at the trafford football ground with seats to small to sit in they would need 2 each way.

Yes I appreciate that, but 1 seat front to back is not the same as 1 side to side, and the point is the "droplets" travel down, not side to side, unless you point that way, so its highly likely you'd get droplets from someone 2 seats behind, and less likely from the side, and that picture shows exactly why.

I can't see me going back if it's like that sadly, I will have to go to work occasionally (we're still working a lot of shifts from home) where I don't feel we've done anywhere near enough, and that doesn't look good to me, and I don't have to do that, so it's unlikely I will.

I undestand some people being wary about all this and respect that.Personal choice.

In Poland recently I attended a few games and at one (Gornik Zabrze) was stood in the ultras secrion where there was very little distancing going on.Theres not been any kind of spike in that area related to football since as far as I am aware.

I also watched the Hungarian Cup Final on TV and it was a full stadium.I fully expected a spike in Budapest related to football but nothing that I have seen.

My opinion on all of this is that we are being over cautious, theres a lot of things in this world that can kill you.

Alongside City I have followed Darlington FC for many years in non league and am waiting to hear plans there for fans return.Darlingtons ground holds 3200 with an average crowd of 1500 so a 30% restriction on crowds will knacker them money wise.

As regards City a big part of matchday for me is taking my Dad along with my 2 lads (got 2 40 year old seasencards between us) and having a few pints so the prospect of sitting in a stadium yards from anyone does not appeal at all so we will probably give it a miss.

If they are taking your name for track and trace and someone is positive who around you has to isolate? How many rows forward and back, how many seats to the side? I really think it’s time to move on, if you don’t want to go for your health next season defer your ticket but those that want to should be allowed to, it’s going to be such a stale experience believe me I was there for the Norwich game.
