Return of Supporters

i think a ballot between season ticket holders is the only fair way. -If the league cup 8k happens and you get a ticket you are out of the running for the FA cup and so on.

We don't know what the situation will be with travel and whether tickets can be sold outside local postcodes. The feeling was that they might not be so the London OSC and other southern branches are the obvious place to distribute the tickets in that case.

Edit: we pointed out to the club that people could drive down, park at Wembley on the official car park and it would probably be safer than local fans going on the tube.
Good point. Everyone should be able to park up on the official car parks with only 8K going shouldn’t they, capacity-wise? (Locals or northerners).

Makes the most sense, I've decided to do neither partly as my lad is working abroad & I'd normally stay at his down there.

Could still stay there but don't fancy rattling around Wembley should I have been lucky with a ticket. Only missed one trip since '76 and that was for the dips CS game so it's not like it's something I've never done.

I'll take one for the last league game ideally.

Playing devils advocate. Why wouldn’t it be done on loyalty points just like every other game with limited tickets?

To the end of the season...
Potential opportunities to have fans - these are my best guess and tickets will go to sponsors, NHS etc.
  • League cup final - 25th April - Wembley -8k announced - 3-4k City
  • FA Cup Final - *Subject to Chelsea Semi* - 15th May - Wembley - 21k Announced - 6-10k City
  • City vs Everton PL - Trophy lift - 23rd May - Etihad -No Number announced yet 10%? - est 5-7k City
  • Champions league final - 29th May - Istanbul - Various Numbers reported - $9k - est 4-6k City * subject to travel UK to Turkey - restrictions in place as of today.

Arguments for both - 1. work through ST holders via points down or 2. open ballot for 35k+~ ST holders but if successful your out until all holders have had a chance to attend something.

For the games in Nov/Dec - that didnt happen - it was open ballot.

Newcastle Boxing day game:
Anyone who holds a 2019/20 seasoncard, existing Cityzens matchday members and hospitality members will all be able to enter the ballot for 2,000 tickets that will open at 9am on Monday December 14 and close at midnight on December 15 by logging into their online account. Tickets will cost £35 for adults, £15 for over-65s and £5 for Under-18s.

Should the government confirm a change in restrictions, the club will draw the ballot from all eligible applications. Only those with a postcode that falls into Tier 1 or Tier 2 will be able to apply, while any multiple supporters from the same household or bubble can apply for a maximum of two tickets.

London Branch of the OSC getting them is fine by me!
