When we thought we'd get back to games before the end of the season, that would definitely have been by ballot. But the club felt it was only fair to rewards points holders on the cup scheme for this game. We (City Matters) had been pressing the club to give some priority to the highest points holders even in a ballot so we're fully behind the club's move to sell tickets for the League Cup final purely on points. They told my wife a couple of weeks ago when they phoned her on Courtesy call that all games until the end of the season would be done by Ballot, so don't think they know what's going on
But it’s not being sold purely on points is it ? It’s doesn’t matter how many points you have if you live in the wrong postcode .When we thought we'd get back to games before the end of the season, that would definitely have been by ballot. No. All non stop at the club's request. One in each direction calls at Watford to provide another Wembley connection option.
I don't blame the club - they are trying to sort out something with all the authorities at short notice. Its the rules imposed by the FA etc who are dictating how we get there yet travel by the general public is going on around us all day!!Absolutely it should be free. Utter disgrace charging 80 / 130 quid for train knowing how fiscally impacted a lot of fans have been. The club could have done the right thing here and laid on all trains and coaches for free and it would have cost them, relatively, buttons. A show of support, a sign that they’re putting fans first. The government or FA or FL should have made the whole thing free. Peanuts to them. And what happens if you’ve shelled out 130 on train plus ticket money and you ping positive on a lateral flow that’s 60% accurate at best? No sign of a refund. The club could have done so so much better on this.
Almost certainly a ballot but we're still discussing some key details. don't really want to say any more than that. But it’s not being sold purely on points is it ? It’s doesn’t matter how many points you have if you live in the wrong postcode .
Just out of interest what are City Matters pushing for with the Everton game , last league game of the season seeing that it’s only a few weeks away.
Fair question. And what's the answer? But it’s not being sold purely on points is it ? It’s doesn’t matter how many points you have if you live in the wrong postcode .

I've no idea what the entry criteria will be I'm afraid.would i need photo ID to get in? (Season ticket holder for 30 years+) I know i've gone on about it before (sorry), but i'm trying to get a citizens card from uk gov, and as i've never had photo ID before i need a referee to prove who i am, such as a GP. But my GP surgery have informed me this week they no longer offer that service (i know they used to do it, even though you had to pay). So i'm a bit panicked.... I need to get an application off next week, but have no one on their list of referees i can use thanks to my bloody doctors not bothering "in the covid climate".
You're meant to be a rep for us, you should be consulting us for our views, not hiding behind secrecy (speaking as a someone who was a senior union rep).Almost certainly a ballot but we're still discussing some key details. don't really want to say any more than that.
