Not been on this thread for a few days but I see those who have no interest in going to 85% of City away games are still chirping up about how the points system needs a complete overhaul.
Presumably it's not been discussed on here that a section of City fans boo'd the knee at the Carabao Cup final?Never even crossed my mind for a second that we’d do this.
Chelsea are known for having a racist element within their support.
It actually made it down to Cityzens Matchday Membership, then sold out.It might not get you a cert ticket especially for the ‘big’ games but there are 9 or 10 games every season which make open sale or any season card holder. Even the Carabao Cup with only 2000 tickets got down to any season card holder (postcode lottery aside)
It’s not a total fuck up, City are just trying something new and will resolve the situation for those who don’t have a smartphone able to accommodate this new system.Age discrimination and socio economic discrimination? Posh words for a total fuck up by the club. If you buy additional tickets for home games you get them as print at home so the system is in place.
If City Matters hold any sway then this will not be the standard entry method when we're back to full grounds.
Yes my panic was getting the tickets in the checkout and paying before Monday, took me 8 hours to finally get it done, the downloading issue they have a week to fix. It’s not a total fuck up, City are just trying something new and will resolve the situation for those who don’t have a smartphone able to accommodate this new system.
I’ve thought that putting my seasoncard in my Apple Wallet should be something City should do for a couple of years now. I don’t want to add to plastic and paper waste with little daft cards or printing paper tickets. We’re in the 2020s, we should be moving with the times and thinking Green.
If we can move towards this we should do it as a club. For those who can’t, stick to the alternatives until it comes a time when nobody needs to anymore.
Just get a cheap as chips smartphone and share that. It’s not a total fuck up, City are just trying something new and will resolve the situation for those who don’t have a smartphone able to accommodate this new system.

The only problem come when lads share seasoncards. I know a group of three who share two tickets between them, for various reasons (one has to sometimes work weekends, makes it more affordable to attend). I used to do the same back at Maine Road: me, my Dad, my cousin and her son shared two seasoncards for a couple of years.
I just have my sons old phone and a pay-as you go sim, £10 top ups I don’t spend more than £30 a year.Just get a cheap as chips smartphone and share that.
Just needs a Google account, the Google Pay app and away you go from what I can see.
The account doesn't need to be real and doesn't need card details.
