I predicted months ago it’ll be well into 2021 or even the start of the 2021-22 season when we’ll be back, and I stand by that.

There’s no way on Earth we’ll be in the ground over the Winter. That R number will only get bigger once the cooler weather and darker nights set in.

Sooner the better as this is just wank. I didn’t find it too bad after lockdown but must have been desperate for football.

Assume when it does return it will be mask wearing too? I saw a picture of fans at a game yesterday and they were all masked up. I really hope not cos they irritate me after 5 mins wearing let alone a couple of hours. Fuck knows how people are putting up with them on flights.

Have league one and two received a bailout as I thought they stopped for financial reasons. What’s changed?
 
Best part about this whole empty stadium affair is that the dippers got to celebrate with absolutely fucking nobody and thats probably going to continue for the foreseeable. Imagine being Champions and not be able to go. The gobshite twats.
 
Club do not need match day fans for money.

Fans contribute less than £1 per every £7 made on a match day
 
All clubs need fans through their doors even those from the Premier League, asap Even Man City need fans through it's doors it can't rely on money from sponsors indefinitely. How many fans will find better things to do with their time, by the time that they will be able to come back to support their team. At the moment I can't how the government can allow fans back into grounds while those with the virus is rising from day to day

We would need the virus rate to come right down, but their is no way that is going to happen over a week or two. If another locked down comes which is more likely than not. A friend has just phoned me, she has relatives in Australia, and they have just gone into total lockdown again. Now on the news Israel will go into total lockdown from Friday. There will be many more countries which will have to make those decisions as to when to go into total lockdown.
