Return of Supporters

That is properly shit. The people at the testing centres knew exactly why we were all getting tested.
They seemed good sorts at Rates Hall, few City fans on the staff wishing us luck, I would just think its a cock up in the system but at this late stage there is no chance of sorting that

I even contemplated falsifying the SMS text for him ( it can be done) as hes a student nurse whos had 2 jabs and COVID but thought better of it as its unfair on the rest of the coach. He could be positive.

Will be interesting to see what happens in my attempts to get a refund as its clearly not our fault. I can go but dont want to leave him behind as it was his birthday present.

Its also a waste of 2 tickets for City fans who wanted to go.

Feel for you, I really do.

Just for the record, I'm not suggesting anyone falsifies a test result, just that they do their own test in the absence of one provided by the authorities. Do it twice if you want certainty. The resulting message is the same.

Get a home test kit. Find a friend or neighbour with a secondary school child and they should have one because they should be tested twice a week.

Do the test and report the result online and the resulting email / test is EXACTLY the same as if you went to a cen

Fully understand what you say. My comment about the text was more to do with a supporters desperation, I would never do it. I am a lot of things but not selfish.

Going to the ground as normal, you never know!

OK one last try. Moss Side Leisure centre are listed as open on Sundays but don't seem to be taking bookings so it could be a website fault.

Worth stopping by?

Rates Hall Manchester.

Mine came through in 30 mins but my lads not come through so we rang 119.They were very helpful but cant get hold of Rates Hall so looks like we wont be going.£180.00 down the toilet, it was a birthday present too.

Unfair that we should lose out financially so will not be letting this one go.If they put a system in place it should work.

Will drive to the ground anyway in the morning to tell them as dont want to delay others on the coach.

Praying for a miracle!
Makes my blood boil this!
Incompetence!
They should have made all the fans needing the results wait the 30 minutes or so for the results.
Is there no helpline on City’s website?
There’s a huge testing centre attached to the Etihad ffs!

Keep tr

Posted earlier - same thing happened to me at the Warrington test site. Went back - staff were really helpful . Told me straight away my test was negative and there was an issue with the IT Sending the confirmation text. Took them 15 mins but I ended up with both a text and e-mail confirming a negative result. Get there at 9 when they open and you may still have a chance. Hope you both make the game.

Just ordered my home PCR test. I considered not bothering - but the more people who have a negative PCR test 5 days after the match, the more confidence the government will have to expand the attendances at future matches.

To the legacy blues going to the game .
All the best , good look with the travelling & getting into the stadium .Be loud, proud & enjoy the day .

TO ALL THE LADS AND LASSES GOING ON SUNDAY:
Have a great time but please stay safe and take care. Have a brilliant experience and cheer twice as loudly for those of us not able to attend. :-)
And I'm sure I speak for all my City Matters colleagues when I echo that. Stay safe and have a good day.

And also thanks for taking part in the trial of watching the forthcoming Super League games in virtually empty stadiums.
