Thanks to everyone who offered advice and support but we went to the ground, rang 119 again and waited and waited....no text so we are now home opening a few beers.

In the normal business private sector you would have a contingency plan for this type of thing but with City and our Govt theres no chance anyone gave thought to that.Despite the fact a vaccination centre is next door, how much help do you need. Will write to the Govt and club and advise them in the hope some other poor fucker does not have this issue in the future.

More gutted for my lad and also for the fact I would like to be there to see us avenge 1981.Horrible fans Spurs,united esq Gobshites of the south.

On the 11:55 train down and all gone very smoothly to be fair to City and Avanti. Sat apart from my lad but once they’d handed match tickets out people allowed to move to sit with family/friends. Thanks to the lad in coach E who handed my lad and me a beer each. Didn’t risk taking our own.

Feel gutted for you @Tbilisi and your lad. Was my worst fear something like that could happen. Hope we can bring the cup back for you.
