Return of Supporters

How have you gone on with contact with City and any others over what happened to you and your lad. Have they given any positive response over the refunds ? Sorry if you have posted updates in other threads but not seen if you have. Whoever is running the ERP and managing the success of it, surely they should be checking the mechanism for testing and getting results is working properly.
Yes City have been great and I should get a refund.

Re ERP nothing at all, you would think so to prevent it happening again to someone else. I will keep on it for that reason, wont let this one go.

Good to hear City have been good. Good luck with chasing the ERP. I was just looking to see who heads it up to see if you could tweet them but neither of the top two have accounts. That sort of approach has worked for me in the past. Guessing email addresses of CEOs etc but not alwasys easy. Good luck with it.

The Telegraph are reporting that the government is being told that social distancing won't be needed for mass events from June 21st after the recent trial events.

Yes, charging £6 for a can of warm Budwieser is enough to stop people from mingling maskless on the concourse.

Great, 500 scousers get to watch us lift the trophy instead of 500 blues.
If as looks likely, Everton go into the last match with absolutely nothing to play for, their fans should do the right thing and insist their club returns the tickets to city to be given to city fans

I know if the tables were reversed I would 100% give mine up

swings and rondabouts

hopefully 500 of our lot get to go to Brighton.
They won't.

Clubs are allowed 25% capacity, up to a maximum of 10,000.

5% of which are set to be away fans. So we have 500 everton fans at the Etihad, but only get 5% of around 7,500 at the Amex. Around 325-ish?

325,still ,the away fans will love it.

we have to try to make initial steps back to normality.

If Chelsea or Leicester win the FA Cup and finish top 4 then 6th spot is open for the Thursday Night Cup.
Does the League Cup still earn a place? If so that is 7th

Never suggested that. Just think having away fans is silly when we're still at a stage in the pandemic where we can't have even half-full stadiums and travel is supposed to be minimised.
I think, as another poster suggested, we need to take these steps back towards normality though. Personally, I think the figures in terms of case numbers and deaths are far better at this stage than I expected them to be following the big lifting of restrictions on March 8th and April 12th. With those figures in mind, and assuming no large spike in the meantime or when further restrictions are lifted on May 17th as planned, one could argue that the numbers they're talking about being allowed to attend are a bit on the conservative side, but if they're allowing a small number of away fans too then that should be seen as a positive surely.
