Me and my 3 lads have entered the ballot all on about 15k points.
We would love to go but if not then not going to gripe about it, Just hope the ones who are there are vocal and make it a great day!

It's one of those things that apart from a few of the corporate fans that have basically jumped the queue with their wealth, for the rest of us it's a fair fight. If I get one great, if not whoever goes, enjoy it and make a noise. In the end we're all city fans.

We ARE rewarding loyalty. If you're one of the few hundred who went to places like Moscow or Kiev (for the Shakhtar game) or Southampton/Sunderland midweek, and did that pretty well every game for the last few seasons, then you deserve to see us lift the trophy.

We fought to ensure those people would be there and I'm not in the slightest embarrassed that we did that and am not going to apologise for it. It was the right thing to do and you have to be a complete moron not to understand that.

He's not a moron. You're being inconsistent. Either the loyalty of fans, as represented by the points system is to be respected, in which case tickets are assigned based on points or "we're all in it together" and it's a ballot.

Based on what I read earlier in the thread it was the number of points that corresponds to a certain percentage of the 10,000 tickets (2000 springs to mind but not sure).

I don't like the loyalty points system and never have, I don't believe it necessarily represents loyalty, however it's the only system we have at the moment and therefore is by default the fairest way of conducting a ticket ballot.

Pretty sure it's just a straight cut-off based on the number of s/cardholders with 22k or more. 5-600 was mentioned so the club probably decided they didn't want many more than 5% of the tickets allocated that way.

10% was mentioned earlier so on that basis only 5/6k of the 10k are going to season ticket and cityzens.

That's not the case. I know several people with over 22000 points who don't do European away games.

It is what it is...I attended every match, home, away and abroad until I had my heart op and had to stop on doctor's orders and I am in the ballot. It happens, if I hadn't had to give up I'd be at 22,000 but I'm not.
So let's just enjoy the fact that we are the CHAMPIONS and maybe, just maybe we might win the total lottery jackpot and get a ticket for Everton. Good luck to everyone.
