Everyone reserves the right not to have it.
Sadly this inept government will seemingly make life impossible for those who opt out.
Personally I think its a total disgrace.
It’s everyone’s choice not to get vaccinated but it’s also their choice to be a person who allows larger viral loads to spread around and increase the possibility of mutations that could end up killing larger numbers of people. If you’re that selfish, that’s your choice, but don’t expect everyone in the country to want to be sharing their space with you.

That’s not a disgrace by any stretch of the imagination. It’s common courtesy and respect for each other’s health.

I'll absolutely be having mine i just don't think it's fair to tell everyone basically you have to have it or else your shunned from society.
I've never had a flu vaccine and never will, there is a lot of similarities between covid and flu.
So why the different approach from similar viruses?

I get where you’re coming from with your first point. But you also have to think that the vast majority of people don’t want people who are potentially carrying a larger viral load or a new mutation of Covid that could kill us, or someone we love, anywhere near us.

8,000 people a year die of flu with no restrictions in place. 130,000 people have died of Covid in a year and that’s with fairly tight restrictions in place. With no restrictions it’s estimated we’d have reached around 500,000 dead of Covid in just a year. The two viruses aren’t comparable, they’re around 62.5 times different.

Not sure where you get your stats from. It's about 17k deaths from flu in England and Wales each year (prior to COVID) with Scotland and NI a bit closer to 20k but prob not there.

Your 500k point is frankly nonsense.

So the Carabao Cup final is essentially going to be an away game for City with 8k Spurs fans present
City are getting an allocation and we'll find out in due course how many go to supporters and whether fans will be allowed to travel.

And in spite of the froth elsewhere on these boards, vaccination isn't a consideration. It's all about a negative test in advance.

These are pilots and the government have their eyes on the Euros more than this run of games.
