Returning to the office.

well been told either july 19th/21st we are all going back in despite infections rising.

Great.

Il be considering my options
I take it you've had both jabs and would have thought your office would take suitable precautions. Do you all work from home during the flu season?

All being needlessly herded back on trains when case rates are going sky high. It’s gonna be a joke.

I've asked HR how they will accommodate my afternoon w*nk, now we are required to go into the office. I guess if the smokers have a room, then I should at least expect the same...

They wouldn't give a fuck if they had tickets for Sunday about cramming onto a train to Wembley

not everyone’s a mid 20’s male.
lot of 40/50/60’s in my office, mixed.
and considering we can as proved work from home then it’s senseless to bring everyone in whilst we’re gonna be reaching peak cases

Loads of folk who have been working from home for the last 12 months or more are gonna be shitting bricks about going back to work in the office - fact.

We’ve been told 1-2 days a week in the office and the rest wfh. This is now a permanent thing. Good for work life balance in some respects but I do really miss daily banter in the office and talking face to face with people are not via Teams!!

We’ve given up the leases on our main offices which I’m sure will impact local business as they were quite large so they will lose all the trade. Sadly I think this will become the new norm and high streets will become even more derelict
