Richard Dunne will not be forced out of City

Double his wages and sit him on the bench. this is a player who has done more for our club than any other player this decade. he is not good enough to be a first team defender in a top 4 side so why not pay him first rate wages for being a second string player? if any one on our team deserves the money thats being thrown about its good ol' dicky dunne!

For one he is not a "bench" player. He is not versatile or an impact player.
For two, he undoubtedly will want to play every week at his age and before the world cup.

No doubt in my mind he'll be going to another club. I wish him well, he's been a terrific servant to our club.
Hopefully we'll bring in a few top class defenders this summer as we're really weak at the back.

Wouldn't surprise me if he moved on if we signed Lescott. He'd have no chance of first team football with Toure ahead of him and if there's any problems then there's Richards and Zab on the right and Nedum can fill in for either Lescott or Toure realistically.

He'd have made a good squad player really but at his age he'd want to be playing first team football. Just a shame that he won't get his testimonial because he richly deserves it considering the shit he's been through with us and the drama that has unfolded in front of his very eyes while playing for us.

i have a concern that lescott and toure are both rather similar, i know lescott is left sided but niether are commanding centre halves and the only players we have at the club in a vidic, hangerland style are kompany TBH and dunne, i am not sure about onuha as of yet but do expect a big future and richards is a right back period
now kompany as we know is out for at least the first 2-3 weeks of the season TBH well say no more and that leaves for me dunnie
so cant see him going anywhere as we dont know if toure and lescott if he arrives will be compatable
and even if we get lescott options early doors at centre half may be limited at least until kompany is back.

would rather see TBH go than dunne as would most.
