Richard Dunne will not be forced out of City

Double his wages and sit him on the bench. this is a player who has done more for our club than any other player this decade. he is not good enough to be a first team defender in a top 4 side so why not pay him first rate wages for being a second string player? if any one on our team deserves the money thats being thrown about its good ol' dicky dunne!

You should be manager mate, you really should.

FFS.

For one he is not a "bench" player. He is not versatile or an impact player.
For two, he undoubtedly will want to play every week at his age and before the world cup.

He'sgoing, end of story. If anyone had any doubts, then this article should dispel them.

LOL

No doubt in my mind he'll be going to another club. I wish him well, he's been a terrific servant to our club.
Hopefully we'll bring in a few top class defenders this summer as we're really weak at the back.

They've just said on talkSport that it's a FACT that Dunne will go to Sunderland if we sign Lescott.

I thought the latest noise from Hughes was that Dunne was club captain again this season?

I'd wish him well if it's true anyway. I'd rather Richards/Onuoha/Kompany were used when Lescott and Toure aren't available.

Sell!!!

Theres not much else he can do now, if Lescott comes in, Nedum will learn from him and Kolo, Kompany can be back up CB as well back up CDM.

Wouldn't surprise me if he moved on if we signed Lescott. He'd have no chance of first team football with Toure ahead of him and if there's any problems then there's Richards and Zab on the right and Nedum can fill in for either Lescott or Toure realistically.

He'd have made a good squad player really but at his age he'd want to be playing first team football. Just a shame that he won't get his testimonial because he richly deserves it considering the shit he's been through with us and the drama that has unfolded in front of his very eyes while playing for us.

I'd drive him to Sunderland myself but not before TBH. Dunne is a thing of the past, he is holding us back these days with his inconsistent performances littered with O/Gs and red cards.

I dare you to go up to him and tell him that yourself. I wouldn't want to mess with a man of his size!

TO be honest I bet he'd rather drive himself there, in a much better car, without some idiot who thinks he knows about football sat next to him.

:)
