Its all about opinions fella.

Im saying keep him as a squad player

Fair enough, but I think Hughes seems to agree with me as we will see either in the sale of him or the fact he won't get much playing time.

If sold he agree's with you, if he stays as a squad player he agree's with me lol

I know that players are multi millionaire's but Dunnie is one guy i wouldnt mind turning out for a testimonial for

not necessarily as if Dunne doesn't want to go, Hughes can't sell him but will only play him when desperate.

he only looked good cos the rest of the team were crap. He got found out last season.

Sorry but that is rubbish: Dunne did not get found out last year and he did not just look good because everyone else was crap. He looked good because he played well but last season his form was poor at the start of the season and he struggled to get it back but it does not mean he can't find his best form again: he is too old to improve.

As to all his O.G.'s and sending offs, some have those have been very unlucky and some are a factor of his wholehearted style. The season before last, he made more blocks than any player in the division and when you do that sort of thing, sometimes you will end up deflecting the ball into your own net.

Dunnie is not world class but he is worth having in the squad.

watched him play for the republic of ireland a few times last season and he put in man of the match performances, both against italy and bulgaria, couldn't understand what was happening to him at city

I can see Dunne being happy enough to miss a fair few games. Staying with us is his one real chance of picking up some silverware in his career.

I'd love to see him lift a cup.

Richard Dunne is a class player who (by his own very high standards) had a very poor season last year. Some people either have very short memories or absolutely no idea - judging from some of the rubbish I've read on here.

If he does leave City, you watch where he goes and what impact he'll make for his new club...

Rubbish, class players can pass the ball.

I would like him to stay but he will end up leaving before the window shuts, especially as we are looking to add another quality defender to our squad. I hope I will be proven wrong and Dunne will end up staying with us and fights for a place in the starting 11.
