Bit of a random signing but Mancini seemingly likes to have an older keeper around to be used in training and warming up Hart/Pantilimon.

Because presumably they prefer to have an experienced No.3 in case of injury to Hart or Panti. Johansen is possibly judged too raw to be one injury away from the bench.
 
Was only talking to a blue yesterday who told me to expect a big signing as he knows somebody at the club and low and behold 24 hrs later we have it
