Richard Wright

Hes a good decent signing he will cost hardly anything on wages no transfer fee and hes English

Baffled by the negativity towards this nothing signing. He wont ever see first team action but people see it as a sign the club are imploding. Don't remember anything like this when we signed Taylor and I'm fucked if I could tell you who is the better keeper at this moment in time.

I'd say they were there or there abouts even, give or take.

Not seen either play for 5 years so no clue. Point being does it matter what our 3rd choice is like.

If he ever is needed to play, I would feel more confident with him than I would with Taylor.

I think the negativity is simply because of our lack of signings in this window, rather than people actually having an issue with Wright himself. When we signed Taylor we also signed Tevez, Adebayor, Barry etc so it was easier for people to just acknowledge him as a backup and happily move on.
