Can anyone list a better pair of full/wing backs than our two? It's a joy to watch Micah and Gael on their day, and I personally think a lot of our success so far this season is due to their form and performances. Call it strange, but I for one at the moment, look forward to our matches just to see how exciting these two can be, especially Micah!! Silva..Aguero..Yaya...Mario.............Micah and Gael!! Top talents, top nurturing with Micah and a top buy with Gael. Bargain, quality, top purchase Clichy.

Didn't mention Kola and Zaba either!!! What a squad, wow.

We have the best back four in the prem. You dont hear this too much in the media at the moment. It seems to be all about the attacking flair and 4 goals per game on average

Definitely give us more of an attacking threat than we had last season,don't mind our back up full backs either.Wasn't impressed with Kolorov for a long time,but he has won me over recently.Played very well on Saturday.

We now have a great balance

It's an immense shame that Zaba isn't quite the athlete Richards is. I feel we really miss those powering runs when Micah isn't playing, and I think there is a larger difference between Richards and Zaba than Clichy and Kola. However whatever Zab lacks in athetisim he more than makes up for in heart, and I wouldn't swap him for anyone, anywhere, ever.

I don't look at it as a pair of fullbacks, more a foursome, the way we play now the fullbacks do more work than any other players, so change more or less every game, i don't worry about who plays fullback these days cos they're all great, not allways been like that!lol

This is the bit that concerns me. With this system the full-backs work like dogs for the full 90mins and we're likely to see a full season being involved in every competition for most of it (I hope). Throw in the odd suspension or injury and we may find ourselves short at full-back and then lose our width in attack.
Maybe we need three top players for each full-back position.

Short at fullback? Richards, Clichy, Zaba, Kolarov, Onuoha, Lescott, Barry, Milner, Savic....I am pretty sure we can find a pair of those on any given weekend or tues/wed night this season mate.
