Richards - Cahill - Lescott - A Cole

Everyone is saying they don't think Richards will benefit from Redknapp, I fully agree. He thinks Walker is a lot better, I beg to differ... Richards is stronger, faster, better tackler and more experienced!
To those who say Terry should be playing, I feel watchin Chelsea last weekend Cahill looks the spit of him in his style of play, if Terry is found guilty Cahill would fit into the slot perfectly.
I just feel Jagielka, Dawson, Smallings aren't consistant enough and can grow enough into the England role!

Little bit of experience in there, with alot of youth. they are the future and they may as well play now, because we know we wont win it anyway, so sod it, blood the youngsters at a major tournament (Germany -2010) so that when the next one comes around, they may be in with a reasonable shout.

Smalling is not good enough, he will be mid-low table again in the next few years.

Smallings been excellent this season, I would go with -

he was immense last season and hes been very good this season when fit, hes a quality player, a lot of blue tinted specs on here though.

It will be a big surprise if Richards doesnt get an opportunity now.
I suppose you could argue that Harry might pick Walker but we all know who is really the best right back and i'm sure Micah will make squads.
As for Lescott, he does split opinion on here. He does have his critics and although I think he deserves a place in an England squad, i;m not sure he would be first choice against quality opposition.

lescott played very well alongside Jagielka against Spain. This would be my centre back pairing

Harry may well prefer Walker, but why not include them both?

Maybe have Walker further up the pitch? Both can help each other on defensive duties and both can attack and overlap.

England have put Bentley, Lennon, Walcott, Johnson on the wing and it's always failed. Best to try something new.

The whole thing needs a shake up really.

Never been a huge fan of Cahill to be honest
