Isn't it amazing that we get knocked back by the likes of RSC,Kaka et al and now some clampet wants us to play a fullback as striker. I would really like to play against that persons team if he was a coach/manager.

think about the fact that he's always going on about playing up front in training?
he came on and played upfront against spurs in the cup last season and looked like he was the most likely to score!

with Dunnie coming back from suspension and Zab's moving back to right back he isn't going to have a place in the starting 11 with Dunn and Onuoha looking better together at the back
and we need a tall Heskey type man up front for the rest of the season to link up with bellamy

might be worth a try?

That's the funniest thing I have heard all year. Er, no.

We are talking about a guy who couldn't find the net if he was a fish in a net. I think his record is about 1 in 95 at the moment. Every time he goes forward for a corner, I wish he wouldn't bother as he only fouls someone and his chances of scoring are close to zero.

Not as daft as it sounds, he was a midfield player when he started, and chiped in a fair few goals, well able to hold his own with most defenders, more than enough pace and power over a short distance, and very good in the air..........has to be a better idea than playing high balls into the box with just Robbie and Co in there.

No he isn't! He is diabolical in the air. He can jump and let it hit his head but as for aim, he is *hopeless!*

I seem to remember the last time somebody played a center half up front at this club there were more than a few raised eyebrows, along with some comments not unlike this thread.
