People have every right to be annoyed at him, some have overreacted but this whole thing is ludicrous, and I guess people are fed up with these continual bullshit claims coming from a minority of our players which is creating unnecessary problems.
To paraphrase Mancini, if these 'problems' lead to us sitting second in the league, long may they continue.
Regarding the rest of your post...the fact is that a lot of people react to the poster rather than what that poster has posted. I don't think there's anyone saying "it's a good thing Micah's spoken to the press" - they're just saying that the abuse being aimed at him (and the abuse aimed it Tevez) is completely unnecessary as dealing with the press is part and parcel of life at the sharp end of premiership football, and players wanting to leave because they want to play more is fair enough...
You say Micah's played 19 games this season - but that stat alone doesn't tell the whole story. Boateng spent a lot of the beginning of this season injured, but since he's gotten fit, Micah's appearances in the league (which lets face it, is what all the players want to play in) have been sporadic. Plus he's competing with two other players, one of whom was signed by Mancini, for his place. Prior to Arsenal he hadn't started a league match since the Stoke game, in which he scored a cracking goal. That was back in November.
It's just my opinion, but there seems to be a massive disconnect between supporters expectations of players, and the reality of being a player at City these days...
