When we won the title in 2011/2012 he was the main RB and did really well.

played : 29 games in the League
Goals: 1
Assists: 5

Can't argue against the record but the club did sign Maicon in the summer.

Maicon only started 4 games in the league with Zero goals & Zero assists.

Maicon was signed with a view to playing three at the back, with wing backs. That experiment failed, even though I think Richards could've fulfilled the same role.

As recent as the title winning team of 2012 I'd still have had Richards as first choice right back, but Zabaleta has pushed on whilst Richards has regressed. Obviously injury has been a big factor, but it's sad to see a home grown player fall away. That's the ruthless nature of the game though. There's no room for sentiment and we can't carry passengers . Zabaleta surpassed him as first choice, and his injury record meant he can't be relied on as backup sadly. Sagna was needed because Zabaleta had to play too many games last season. Sad to see, but he may thrive elsewhere if he can stay fit. I've a lot of time for him though, and wish him all the best.

Spot on there pal.

If he's planning on running his contract down & going on a free next summer then I'm afraid he'll have to sit on the bench, that would be an insult to City - Players waiting to go on a free for a big pay day for themselves are no use to Pellerini and City's future plans.... He's had plenty of opportunity to sign a new contract when you consider the club have nursed him through one injury after another I dont really know what Micah expects anymore!!! .....

He won't be doing that either, Sagna or Zaba will be on the bench

Sagna & Zaba will be on the bench? What the f*ck have you been smoking? Sagna if fit will start the season to give Zab a rest ... Zab will be no.1 RB with Sagna as backup - Micah has shown no desire to sign a new contract at City & TBH he needs to do some work to get some of that bulk off - He can't stay fit and looks like he's lost a yard or two of pace (he's toooo heavy)...

Stick to FIFA my friend!!!!!

He said Sagna or Zaba...

Meaning one would start, the other on the bench; leaving no room for Micah at all.

Bravo.

Read it again...

Also, micah isn't leaving because the club don't want him, Sagna was signed because micah wanted to go. Much rather keep micah myself, and the lack of respect you've shown for city's current longest serving player is appalling. He was instrumental in bringing home our first premier league trophy, maybe you haven't been a city fan long enough to remember that.

No need to lurk when you make it so easy tbf

You told a fellow poster to "stick to FIFA" after failing to read his post properly and you're accusing me of being smug? Calm yourself down, kid.
