I doubt anyone will buy Richards unless its for free or £500k to £1m maximum. Back in 2011-12 he looked like a world class right back and now he looks like conference right back. quite big slump...

Too much 'banter' with Lescott and NDJ.

I think youre on the money.

I believe its a lack of professionalism from his focus to his training,he has enjoyed the life of a footballer more than the work imo.

Mid table Prem side will buy him eventually before the window shuts, we'll get a couple of mil for him.

OR it could just be the vast amount of injuries he's suffered over the last few years. Judging by all the city tv videos, it seems micah is quite the trainer, especially in the gym. Give the lad a break, he's a true professional, just seriously unlucky with injuries.

Always giggling....did't seem to take life seriously.......when with Lescott he was disruptive which always came across on City TV...... Great shame ......had loads of potential but lost his way........ Pity his last kick in a Blue shirt was probably his worst the missed penalty in Minneapolis....... Will miss him but we are in a ruthless results business........

In all honesty mate, I don't think they will. Micah was never much of a footballer, but his almost freakish athleticism, power and pace more than compensated. Injuries and an overblown physique have diminished his physical attributes to the point that he now resembles a lumbering elephant rather than a footballer. You didn't need to be a clairvoyant to know that he would gormlessly try and smash the cover off the ball on that penalty last night, and sure enough.
In peak condition, he's just about good enough for a place in the City squad. In his current condition, he wouldn't get many starts at Hull or Burnley, and the lack of offers speaks volumes. A great shame, but a lot of the blame lies with Micah himself. He's been injury free for about 4 months now (although I stand to be corrected), and this is the condition he's in?! Sorry, but I just don't think he's taking it seriously enough

No mid table premier league team can afford him, even if they wanted him. He's on 72k per week! The only clubs that can afford him don't want him. We'll have to loan him out whilst still paying half his wages. Then he'll leave on a free.

Totally agree ... Surely he's been advised at City to lose some bulk, especially given his injuries in the last 2 years .... He's just always seems to be larking about compared to blokes like Zab, Vinnie, Silva, Negredo, Navas etc ...who always look like they mean business and are serious about what they do. May just be a perception he gives but when Pellers came in I wonder what his impression of Micah was laughing and joking on the training pitch, if you can't see him, often you can hear his infectious laugh in the background. Of course you need a laugh and joke at work sometimes, but it seems thats all he's talked about for these days!!!

Micah your football career is going down the pan, you need to focus, lose some bulk .... This is no laughing matter my friend. You could be going from massive Emgland prospect to average Championship player or even worse!!

Just interested people are saying Micah's bulked up how do you loose it fat people exercise and eat less as Micah is muscle and not fat and exercise will maintain his bulk .how would he loose it ?

Sad to see him go due to his long time here and how good his level of play was when we won the league under Bobby. He just couldn't stay on the field the past two seasons and his level of play has dropped.

I can't see someone wanting to take him on permanently due to his injury history and recent form, we must be hanging on for a permanent sale though.

Muscle is ridiculously easy to lose. You need to maintain high calories and lift weights nearly every day just to maintain it. If you stopped going to the gym and just did cardio and ate less it would go in months.

Spoke to the Oldham chairman a few times over past couple of years. Think they were banking on a few million from Micah - May end up with nothing,

Has lost all his pace now and just looks big and clumsy! A real shame but micah is not was he was and needs to be shifted on.

Trouble is, NDJ and Lescott have been able to balance the two, and moved away, on less wages, to play football.

Oh right never been in that position regarding muscles just assumed they'd go flabby .if that's all he has to do he needs too do it quick far more like a boxer than a football player now

He'd do a decent job next to Rhyl's left centre back and not many forwards would fancy trying to rough them up. But premier league? Sorry, Micah, all the best for the future, but somewhere along the way, you forgot you're supposed to be a footballer, not a gangsta.
