Severe infection following being admitted to hospital on Thursday with a shoulder injury.
He made it look so simple to play ..... but any guitarist will tell you keeping the rhythm he did like this takes skill.

Coming out of Bingley Hall,we played "Spot the person with no denim". We only saw two people without and they stood out like a fucking sore thumb.Rip Rick. Saw them support Queen at Knebworth in 1984 ish.

More sad news. R.I.P.
Saw Quo without him a week ago, went as it was their last tour and they had Reo Speedwagon supporting them. Only time I've seen the latter day Quo headline although saw them with Queen and a multi band show at Knebworth. Was obviously disappointed Parfitt couldn't do the tour; still an enjoyable gig but Reo were better. About 3 years back I saw the Frantic Four version of Quo and they were much better, being the real thing, who I also saw back in their 70's heyday. They did what they did brilliantly.
