met him once, absolute tosser but you know it was at the hieght of their fame, was told years after that both were off their tits most of the time so probably why

Not a very festive subject but it's also linked to how old rock n roll is and, as I type, Greg Lake pops up on the Xmas playlist.

Yup .... all our musical heroes are heading the same way .... I can't see 2017 being much different in those that are checking out .... Especially when you think how many of them caned it back in the day.

Yes you're right. Quo, Big Country and Belouis Some I think it's spelt, were the support.
Saw that tour at Maine Road summer 86 - Belouis Some, then Quo, then Queen. No Big Country for that show
