Ricky Hatton Comeback

He could get a couple more decent pay days - and money has driven better fighters to comeback.

Maybe he could step up a weight and use his experience to win a bout or two. He wouldn't ever get the hand speed back.

Better to stay retired unless he needs the money.

Really hope that he doesn't come back. He did the right thing in retiring in my opinion. Thoughts???

Be alright as long as the right opponent is sourced.. How about Muhammad Ali.

True, but his promotional company is failing and he's pissed Sky Sports off, so perhaps it's for the good of that rather than personal finances.

It just reeks of a money generating thing for me, I personally thought he was washed up when he fought Mayweather let alone past that. He was lucky to get the decision against Collazo (which could've gone either way) and was nearly knocked out at the Etihad against Lazcano.

He reached heights that few boxers reach and was beaten by the two best fighters of his generation, no shame in that. Why come in again half arsed?

Because unlike most people he is born to fight and its almost impossible for boxers to stay away when they retire, they miss the buzz, the training the feel of it all it makes them feel alive. Its hard for them to give up and harder to stay away

Met him in the Townley before the QPR game; seems a really nice bloke. Therefore , I hope he listens when I say (and I'm not alone, judging by most of the comments in this thread);
It's gone Ricky; forget it.

Unless he's desperate for the cash (which I doubt) I just don't see this happening, I mean he ain't gonna win, he's had his day... Which was a great day and he shouldn't spoil this with half-assed performances.

Loved watching his style as a kid, let me keep those memories of him rather than ones of him getting embarrassed.
