ricky hatton fight sat november 24th

Buzzing about seeing Hatton fight again that documentary the other night was class. Loved it where they were showing him the shorts and he said 'I know theyll be alright as long as the Man City badge is on there' and you could tell he couldnt wait to walk out to Bluemoon. The guys a legend hope he puts on a performance he can be proud of.

I just have a bad feeling about Hatton now, I'm sure he'll win on Saturday but he just doesnt look right to me, although he's got older he just seems pale and gaunt looking. Add to that the fall out with his family, I'm not sure about his frame of mind.

I hope he wins this one and has two more before retiring hopefully with something, fair play to him he admitted he went off the wall and just wants to restore some pride. Mayweather and Pacman were just too classy for him and every other boxer in those divisions! Couldnt care less about Freddie I think he's daft for trying it now at his age,but I hope he doesn't get seriously hurt.

He's always been pale mate. Nobody will know what he'll be like until fight night. He said it himself. COME ON RICKY

I'm no expert but how can losing 4 stone in 3 months be good for you? Is he really that fit? Seems a bit of a false economy to me

And how can Sky try and justify asking you for £15 to watch someone who hasn't fought in three years?

Not a fan, but wish him well, mainly as he's a blue (his saving grace from what I can see)

He didn't lose it in 3 months it was more like 8 months, he lost a lot of the weight before he even went into a fight camp.

And it's not sky charging its a shitty ppv channel called primetime. At least with sky we'd get it in HD.

Certain types of boxers can comeback, but fighters like Ricky who rely on speed and stamina more than skill are not in that category. I hope he does well, but he is never going to be the fighter he was. The best he can hope for is a few good earners. I hope he has the sense to quit for good before he gets hurt.
