Rico Lewis | Set to sign a new 5-year contract (pg33)

Sorry but not sorry that anybody that wants to see Rico sold is a numpty ….no matter if you changed your mind 500 times from liking him to not liking him blah blah blah

He’s a quality, quality player - can do a bit of everything, has bags of experience and heart, passion which nobody seems to mention, oh and it’s clear Pep loves him and yes he’s freaking 20 years young.

I like to think Pep is just using the media to make a point to Rico and others - buckle down, listen to me and work, work, work …..or something like this - I think Pep rated him highly and he wouldn’t have started on Saturday if this wasn’t the case - City 2.0

Also, he's still negotiating an improved contract. I doubt City would've offered him one if it was our intention to flirt him.
 
Haha. Good news. But what a strange turn of events!

I wonder if the Forest links were some sort of bluff being called by either City or Lewis?!
 
Maybe this is they kind of thing he needs to really boost his confidence and career- he commits to City- City turn around and extend him - and next thing you know everyone who used to slag Lewis (me included) have to fuck off as he's become a phenom.
 
OK with him staying as long as he isn’t first choice RB. That would make us 5th place contenders.
 
This is fantastic news!!

Next year if a RB is available I’m all for us signing one, but this year Rico will have a big role to play.
 
Happy enough that Rico is staying. The club still needs a Walker replacement. Maybe not possible and we will go with Rico and nunes. The laters role is under pressure now.

Someone has to leave…
