Ridiculous things from City's history

That scrote at Forest nicking the ball off Dibble and scoring.

Or on a similar note Sheff U scoring after the ball deflected off of a stray balloon in the 6 yard box.

Freaks.

The last 10 minutes vs Liverpool when we got relegated were utterly bizarre. Everyone apart from the coaching staff and players didnt realized we had to score. Remember people in the ground saying we were safe and others(correctly) saying we had to score. I was sat in the top of the main stand that day and I remember when it was confirmed we were relegated people were just stunned. Surely it couldn't of been that difficult to get the correct message to the team
Typical City

This thread could go on forever. Most of which will have involved Peter swales.

When the whole world was in economic chaos due to the 1979 oil crisis we go out and break the transfer record paying nearly 1.5 million for Steve Daley.

Allison offered £400k for him, which was turned down, then Big Mal told every man and his dog how much he rated him, how much he wanted to build a team around him and of course Wolves then inflated the price. Swales always denied it, but he basically told Wolves to name the fee. Allison couldn't believe it when he told him- and Swales thought he couldn't believe it because he was so happy!
Wolves spent the money on Andy Gray - so our headline grabbing record fee didn't even see the month out.

At a supporters club meeting in the 90's, Mal told us he made a bid of £400k, Wolves said no. He went on holiday and came back to the news that Swales had increased our offer.... To a transfer record!
