All good shouts there. Kayode was one I liked but he hasn’t had the game time this season. I’d throw Tino Livramento in aswell.

Same as no striker option for the benchIf we don’t have a youngster who can receive and pass the ball, overlap every now and then, and put in a tackle every now and then, what DO we have at the Academy?
Thought it was poor of Pep to comment about the Academy players on the bench as he did, too. They’ll never get better, and no-one will ever know what they might be able to do if we never give them the chance.
If not now, when we are decimated, when?

What would Livramenti cost, £60mil? £70mil? And that will be in the summer
Compare that to £20mil to £30mil for Kayode or Vanderson
Think we're going to have to go big (like £80mil plus) on a new midfielder and a new centre back in the summer then maybe £50mil to £60mil on a new DM this Jan... can be a little shrewd I another areas especially given no full back really stands out
If there was a guy like Walker around I'd say go for it, but there isn't really so think Kayode/Vanderson make a bit more sense and may even be better than Livramento or Aina and other prem players

Why does Kayode sound familiar, did we have him at a CFG club? Maybe it's Kabore I'm confusing him with.

We signed a player called Kayode a few years ago he immediately went out on loan to Girona, don’t think he did much there. Seemed like a big mistake and city moved on somewhere else permanently. This is not the same Kayode.Why does Kayode sound familiar, did we have him at a CFG club? Maybe it's Kabore I'm confusing him with.
A while before that I'm afraid2023/2024 I think. Walker was his name.

That Kayode then went on to Shakhtar and ended up playing against us in the Champions League.
