To be homegrown you have to have been registered with an English or Welsh FA. Irish and Scottish teams don’t count.

Ffs I just did the maths he’s acc born in 2006 and he still would miss it. If we signed him rn he’ll only be here for 1.5 years until he turns 21Think he'll miss by a year turning 21 in 2027.

For me Rico offers more.Need a new RB and Nunes in competition imho. Don't think Rico will ever be good enough there.
There is an argument his game isn’t suited to every situation but he’s much more technical than Nunes and what he offers in the middle outweighs what Nunes does in my opinion.
Lewis does need to compete with a RB though and it would be nice to have a conventional one so we have a full back and inverted full back option.

This is it, if we want overlapping then Lewis doesn't really offer much currently.I'm more of an overlapping fullback type, it's all down to pep and how he wants to play next year I guess.
He will always try to move into the middle and I think he does an excellent job of it. If we did switch how we play though im sure he'd adapt and paired with the right winger could do a good job. Just takes time.

As it stands though we have Lewis to play inverted and Nunes to play overlapping. If we can find the right homegrown fullback to buy that's ideal.
