I like him, great desire. Cracking cross aswell.
i'm confused by this i thought nunes has done a very good job this season. so don't know why we want someone who's gonna want to play most weeks. unless they have other plans for nunes
that's could be a point, of all our rb links porro is the only one i have watched so wouldn't know how the other players would fitUnless Maresca just wants a RB and not someone who learnt to be one?
Like Nunes, we might see a rotation of both options.I actually think his greatest potential is from left back. 2here he can ghost into great positions.
Start him in midfield and a can DM pick him up easily and you blunt his nature advantage
If they have learnt to be one, then they're a rb, no?Unless Maresca just wants a RB and not someone who learnt to be one?
He learnt very well and became a better right back than Porro though.Unless Maresca just wants a RB and not someone who learnt to be one?
i do wonder if there's a change in policy from the club in bringing players in that are from the league so there's no as much adaptation process. almost worked very well with guehi and semenyoPorro is fine. He'll never be elite but as a second choice fullback, it's good depth. The issues are the price. That's a lot of money to pay for what he would be and he'll be on very good money at Spurs.
We've been trimming big earners recently but we'll have to pay big money for contract renewals of key players and those who have earned themselves improved contracts, can't be giving this guy top wages if his status in the squad doesn't reflect it without it costing us dearly.
There is also the fact we had him and sold him and had a chance to bring him back and declined, if we deemed him not good enough twice, does bringing him back now, reflect the new lowered bar?
We may not need a starter, but we need competition and a backup.Porro is SHITE be fuming with that tbh. Nunes is probably the best right back in the League for me other than Timber at Arsenal. Don't think it's a major need. Sort the midfield out first. If we can get a Tino Livramento sort yeah great but not fucking Porro.
I wouldn't even straight swap Sav for him.
Competition. Nunes will win, but he'll have solid competition.i'm confused by this i thought nunes has done a very good job this season. so don't know why we want someone who's gonna want to play most weeks. unless they have other plans for nunes
that's a fair pointCompetition. Nunes will win, but he'll have solid competition.
Nunes has not learned he has mastered it. He is now the best rb in the league. We can do better than Porro. Porro is a player playing for relegation fodder team and we have rejected him in the past.Unless Maresca just wants a RB and not someone who learnt to be one?
