Right then - Did Man ever step foot on the moon?

Of course man has walked on the moon. I'm a bit amazed at the technology though...landing the thing especially getting back up again.
I like conspiracy theories but I'm quite sure the moon landings happened.

Also, we haven't been back since the 70's, but I think there were something like 4 manned moon landings.

The 'we didn't land on the moon' conspiracy has been debunked so many times, yet for some reason loads of people seem to be prepared to overlook the facts & still believe that it didn't really happen. Strange.

yeah but not once in 30 years
The reasons given at the time ,were that it was scrapped because of the publics waning intrest in the program and the huge costs involved on the economy. I will leave you to make your own minds up.

Sorry, there were 6 moon landings and 12 people have been on the moon.

whats the reason for not having visited since the 70's. You'd have thought they would have been back a few times more than that wouldnt you?

No. What would be the point?

This is one of the greatest mysteries of human history.

If we went all them years ago then why the hell have we never been back? and considering all the advances in technology?

Anyone seen them videos of the flag blowing? that technically is impossible

We never stepped foot on the moon and dont let any yanks from area 51 tell you otherwise

Remember: if you put tinfoil inside your hat, The Man can't read your brainwaves.

Nasa just aint sexy anymore. Until the goal is to take man to Mars it will continue to be that old bird who used to be pretty good looking.

Personally I am much more interested in the likes of Virgin Galactic. If ever there was a way to fund space exploration it is by... taking people into space.
The future of mankind in space is in the peoples hands, not the Mafi... err i mean, Government's.

www.virgingalactic.com Watch the vids. Its superb. Eventually, when more company's start competing with one another the price will come down (obviously it is going to be very very expensive at the start) to a point where most people may be able to afford it. Someday we'll all have our own spaceships :D ( probably not in our lifetimes ;) ) This is why the market trumps government planning every single time.

watch this video documentary of it, short but concise. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0

We have satellites that can read the small-print on someone reading a newspaper, and yet scientists arent able to see and verify the landers because there "too small." Makes you wonder.

Despite technological advances it would still be just as difficult to send another man on the moon and probably more expensive. We know whats on the moon, it's made up of the same rock that makes up the Earth's crust, as the moon is just remnants of Earth's twin planet, Thea, colliding with Earth 4.5 billion years ago, causing Thea to be obliterated and the debris smashed off Earth then formed the moon we see today.

NASA have also put in place instruments to carry out further tests from Earth. It would be a pointless exercise to go again. Instead NASA and other space programmes are putting resources into venturing furter into space.
