Rigsby's Last Stand

To be honest I'm suprised he's found the balls to speak out.

A good player, but ultimately a heart the size of a pea.

Wonder what the Bolton fans will think of him when the neck scarf and gloves come out later this month?

Yeah - because as we all know everything in the City Garden is rosy!
I think the situation at the moment is very much as Petrov suggests - hopefully in the longer term players will get to know each other, understand when and why thay are playing or not and on the pitch gel into some coherant team - not just in one offs like Liverpool.
So the current situation in the wake of the transfer window and the squad registrations may well be very much as he says.
I suppose it's like your parents - alright for you criticize them - but not ok for someone else to.

Who gives a shit what Petrov thinks?
And he was talking to a twat from the sun who's stuck the knife in and twisted it before.
Interesting that he'd rather ask him about his time at City than at his new club?

It's a bit like someone asking the girl you've just had a row and finished with what she thinks of you.
Pointless.

His main gripe is that the club offered him a one year deal. He is 31 and had a few injury problems, any more than 1 year would have been stupid. It was purely a professional decision. .........................moaning bastard.

totally agree!

Miserable tw@t!

I remember him sat on his arse in an exec box at COMS when he was injured watching the match, at half time he was shooing kids away who were reaching up from the seats below for his autograph.

Bye bye Martin, you selfish cock!

maybe he thought he should be treated like Danny Mills and should remain on the payroll until he retires from football...

Really wanted to stay at City until his Bulgarian Old Age Pension kicked in. Would you trust this fucker? Hope he gets a kicking tomorrow!

It never ceases to amaze me how these people end up, after some measure of adulation, and all the good wishes for the future, that they go and shit on yer the first chance they get.

And as far as I'm concerned, any player who doesn't want to be in the 'squad' and fight for a place can get back to the sewers, you ungrateful, miserable tosspots.

I see the dreadlocked smiler is at it again now, there's a lack of trust at City, apparently.

Strange that players no longer deemed good enough and shown the door suddenly think there are problems at City, didn't seem too concerned when we were paying their astronomical wages.

Just. Fuck. Off.

So we have it reported in the Sun that it was petrov who stated there was no trust in city, but in the MUEN they are stating it was Benjani! This just shows how poor the British press is. YCMIU.

I've never understood why players just don't leave with a "goodbye and thanks to the fans who have supported me; just a shame it didn't work out for us." etc?

It just makes them all look petty and small.

Any private grievances should be just that, private.
