Ring doorbell

Has any you got one ? When someone rings the bell your meant to be notified pretty instantly on your phone.
Well not ours it doesnt. Theres a delay of about 20 seconds sometimes longer. Nothing like the TV advert .
By the time youve answered the person ringing the bell has gone. Anyone else have the same problem?

I have one. It’s pretty intermittent. I find deleting the cache on the app helps. I’ve never spoken to anyone apart from my wife asking if she wants help with shopping once I’ve watched her bring it all in!

I haven't even got a doorbell.
I was actually thinking about covering the door in three inches of jelly so nobody can knock on it.

Can't see the point in seeing who's ringing my bell. If it's a burglar and they see a ring bell they will just knock on the door anyway.

fixes a problem nobody had - something that, like Hive, allows the app and phone obsessed to have a further reason to fuck about with their phone all the time rather than interact with the world around them.

however even if they don’t ring it, they will activate the motion and a video of them will be recorded
