It's not actually true as the yanks would still have 30 golds without the swimming. We'd still be doing alright without the cycling. We won medals in more sports than any other country including the US. In fact if all the top teams deducted the medals from their most successful sports we'd still be second.You can't really say that though. Where would we be without cycling? Definitely agree on the funding, this winning medals lark is far better than watching it years ago when we were crap.
