I definitely think he's going to forgo his last two years of college eligibility. He's already been paid $250,000 for the gold (which he can keep) but there are millions more if he signs endorsement deals. Otherwise he'll have to wait until he graduates until he can cash in and there won't be as much heat on him in two years.

Watched the closing ceremony until GB entered the arena in their red, white and blue flashing shoes (designed in Accrington).

Got a feeling that Tokyo 2020 could be the best Olympics yet.

On 5live last night they said that if swimming was not in the Olympics, GB and Ireland would have topped the medal table. Not checked it out myself but if true that is incredible. The National Lottery has been a huge boost for British sport and long may it continue.

You can't really say that though. Where would we be without cycling? Definitely agree on the funding, this winning medals lark is far better than watching it years ago when we were crap.
