Rio Olympics

They only unveiled the technology the other day and he been training in it in secret so whilst it is legal it wasn't available to everyone else. Not a big issue just "against the Olympic spirit" a tad.
So; the same as professional tennis and golf players taking part in a traditionally "amateur" event.

Agreed. Not sure why player who can earn multi millions in their sports should compete in what is traditionally amateur event. The football is modified somewhat why isn't golf or tennis? I totally understand that it makes the games a bigger spectacle to audiences and these games are costing more to host and the sponsors want the big names but there was talk of professional boxers competing recently and that wouldn't sit right with me but I'd still enjoy it.

Well I just saw the GB women smash the bollocks out of everyone else on the track....fairly sure that's not all about the suit

Of course not. But talking fine margins. If Bolt took half a second off his own record due to new trainers you could say he was always the fastest but that time is somewhat aided due to his equipment. Of course these are supreme athletes regardless.
