I think Theresa May needs to act swiftly and send the troops in now to nip this in the bud.

What do you expect us to do? We're not trained to deal with riots and we're not equipped. We can't shoot people for looting. So what do you see troops doing to help the situation?

Oh by the way, there's very few of us these days, Afghanistan, Libya and the SDSR have seen to that.

We are trained for riots more than most other forces. They do have the equiptment.

I believe they are fairly accurate, for instance. The clips of looters just running into shops, its safe to say anyone there deserves a bit of lead, just open up the mini gun from a mile away, it wouldn't effect anyone else, just the scum.

Despite my strong feelings on the police, I would urge all involved to seek a non violent solution. I'd be wasting my time but that's never really bothered me to date!

I agree with that in the long run, but right now the mob are taking over, we need strong decisive action to stop this spreading, Looking into why the black community are so fucked off and probably kowtowing to them, building a few more youth clubs, sure start centers etc is for a later day, right now someone needs to show them that in England we don't do mob rule, we change things via democracy. I wonder how many of those young black lads have fathers, maybe the black community could look at its self in the long term as well, to many black dads tubbin up girls and fuckin off, it leads to very bitter, disaffected young lads.

Anyone caught up in this is gonna be fair game tonight.
I expect some ugly scenes, but I don't see any other way of the police regaining control.
