Re: Riot in Tottenham (continued)

Didn't the police say to gtfo if your just rubbernecking ? on sky news now i can see 20 taking pics and just rubbernecking.

If they copped for a batton over the head then id laugh at the silly buggers.

Re: Riot in Tottenham (continued)

People can no longer try and call this a stance against governments past and present. It's thuggery, pure and simple, brought on by an endemic lack of discipline which we can all see had been breeding over the last decade or so.

Re: Riot in Tottenham (continued)

Get the army in to quell disturbances, round up all agitators and then burn parliament down.

Get the SS in to quell disturbances, round up all the commies and then burn the Reichstag down.

Fascism has many faces

what's your opinion on 50 youths starting tomorrow night in manchester, with fire bombs outside your flat?

will it be fine, shall we just tell them to stop?

bollocks, you'll be pleading for every bit of help you could get.

I just don't know how to respond to some of the bile spouted on here tonight.

I'd be surprised, since i don't live in a bookies or a carpet shop etc, and sure i'd probably be shitting it and more than a bit pissed off.

But would i advocate them all being killed... no. Would i advocate some form of hard line punishment and deterrent? yes. But we're not a third world military lead country and i don't want to see us run like one.

Agreed.

Violence only leads to more violence.

I thought you said you had no problem with the police being attacked/killed?

innocent people at risk.

fire brigade coming under attack, will they attack ambulance staff next aswell?

yet still some think 'it's not that bad'.

where does it stop?

At your rate we rename London Baghdad.

I've also seen no one say "its not that bad".

Manchester is starting next word has it.

when there ruining our city, and your caught in it.

attacking the fire brigade.

well basically that says it.

country has gone to the dogs entirely.

if the army aren't in by tomorrow night, i will be shocked.

Attacking the fire brigade is a step too far. They are just trying to do their job, not get involved.

A part of me doesn't want the army lads to have to go from one war zone to get spat on on their own doorsteps. But it'll have to be done.

I hate hearing people saying the cops aren't doing their jobs, or that the prime minister is at fault for being on holiday.
There is only one side we need to blame, not the politicians (yet) not the police. These scum.
And when it's all over, and if they make arrests, one of the punishments they should be given is to clean up the streets that they have ruined.
These morons are about to experience something they never have, consequences.

Scum, complete scum.

What the fuck are the parents doing. If you are a parent in London there is no way that they should be out at all, never mind at 11.00 at night.

You can't say that, it makes you a right wing mentalist.

Gstar, maybe what you are not seeing is people's frustration on here with the apparent inability of the authorities to stop this and that frustration is showing itself in some extreme suggestions. I am not a violent person but I can see no other course of action than to batter a few until we regain control. Teargas, water cannon - whatever it takes otherwise anarchy rules and that is not acceptable in this country

Nope, every passing image i'm watching pisses me off more and more.

But anyone who thinks sending in armed forces, to randomly open fire... i haven't got words i could use on here without getting banned. Stupid isn't the word.

I'd be completely on board with water cannons etc... get people back in line, but we're a democracy not a dictatorship. And the people on here, imo are worse than the rioters; "The scumbags should be met with cretinous actions in the name of justice"?

Yea, right.
