RIP Anthony Veevers (AntonDonJuan)

Got a mutual friend on Facebook who posted about this yesterday, obviously didn’t link him to being on here, but couldn’t believe the age of the guy from the photos.

What a bloody shame. RIP young man.
 
That’s so gutting to hear, especially at such a young age, met Ant a few times years ago to sort some training schedules and stuff out for him, proper nice and down to earth lad he was.
Rest in peace Ant and sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Edit: Was just thinking back to the first time I met Ant, I had no idea what he looked like, but he had a really posh sounding (double-barreled) surname, because of that I had visions of meeting someone very different looking.
When he approached me and introduced himself he could see I was a bit surprised and laughed that I bet I thought I was meeting some “monacled, cravat wearing snobby twat”, I couldn’t deny it because that was pretty much spot on, yet in reality very much the opposite, but we always had a good laugh about his name and he always took it in the spirit it was intended.

I'm still in shock after hearing this, Anton was a proper nice lad, one of the funny ones from back in the day, never took himself seriously, even when proclaiming his skills at the 5-a-side meetups and Bluewatch matches.

Sad to read he'd just been married too, must be awful for his wife.

Can't quite believe no one has posted the video of him through 1 on 1 and spooning it wide...!
 
Rest in Peace blue, 36 is no age at all, thoughts go out to his family particularly the wife must be awful to lose your partner so soon after marriage. Hopefully the boys do you proud today.
 
So sad to hear this especially at such a young age. Only knew him from his BM posts, but always came across as a good lad. Condolences to all his family in particular to his wife. Can’t we have a minutes applause after 36 minutes? RIP Anthony.
