Agree with this, it was a good idea badly executed..... Very suited to being placed close to our ground in that sense, so much about City has been a great idea gone wrong! Maybe its removal is symbolic of the changes we all look forward to now!
 
It's lines, shape, form, space, texture, value and colour were all truely beautiful. All these elements allowed me to analyse and appreciate a magnificent structure and idea.
The intention of the project was to stimulate thought, inspire and be permanent reminder to celebrate the Manchester games, which, IMO it easily fulfilled.

Just a shame that the build quality was a total bag of wank

The fact that it had temporary fencing round it for 5 years didnt help.

Always looked like it hadnt been finished
