Sad news. Met him a few times, he gave me huge advice when I was really down after one of my divorces. He had been in the trenches too a few times. He did quite a few jobs for me over the years and gave me nice bollockimgs when I was out of order in my more wild days on here.

He was a tough man and a nice man who lived a life. He battled his illness like the warrior he was no doubt.

A real good character of life gone and I think godfather of the forum is the right word.
