    He use to drink a lot in Richmond, London. He loved his red wine and was always the life and soul of the party. RIP.

    Met him many times and a top top bloke. No where near as grumpy as people think we was. Very funny and humble/normal guy. Big blue as well. Loved the bloke. Rest in peace Big Bird

    Absolute legend and THE ONLY true English fast bowler for most of his test career. Loved him when he was in the zone steaming in. Saw him at a show and asked him about City. His Dad was a journalist in Manchester and Bob understandably saw the light (blue) RIP Bob

    My cricketing hero along with Beefy and Viv 'master blaster' Richards, sermed a top bloke with acerbic wit and a blue just to top it all off, RIP Bob.
