He was a nasty fuck, but only did it to the lowest of life, never to the guy in the street.

Read one of his books once where he was in a hole he was digging which was supposed to be his own grave and he escaped by slicing the knee of his abductor with a spade. "funny" in parts, everything he subsequently wrote seemed a bit samey for me

Oh by the way what's wrong with taxing drug dealers? Its just a hazard of their chosen lifestyle. He may have been a bad bastard but he only terrorised those who terrorised the weak and vulnerable. I wouldn't say RIP Chopper but compared to a lot of the low life scum out there he wasn't too bad IMO.

This is very typical of the society we live in and what Hollywood does. Write a book and produce glorified film about him and he becomes cult hero. Chopper was a violent criminal. Most likely a psychopath and murderer. I can't condone his crimes, lifestyle or ethics in any way. But I do have to admit that his exploits were interesting to read about.
