Just heard the shocking news that Chris Shaw has sadly passed away. Big blue from Droylsden. If any blue used to regular attend away games with the Droylsden branch they would have known Shawsy. Great character and pleased to have been in his company for many an away game. Shocking news and he was only aged 35

Awful news. Shared a few pints with Shawsy on a couple of European trips, Aarhus for Midjetland was one of the best. RIP blue

Did not know him but 33, same age as me and i feel i have barely lived yet, it is no age.

My thoughts and best wishes are with his mates and family.

Not in person but spoke with him a couple of times on FB and seemed a great guy - saw this news a few hours ago.

Very sad news, I used to work with him and know his sister. He was a great lad always smiling.
