More likely ''My wife loves your programme''! From a golden age of American cop shows; Kojak, Ironside, Starsky & Hutch, Cannon, The Rockford Files, McCloud etc etc. Sad news.

A great formula on that show and I've been known to pull a 'one more thing' to get something out of someone when they've dropped their guard - it fucking works a treat.

Very sad - he stood the test of time in a world (showbiz) where people's shelf life is usually measured in months.
