Very sad. Such a heart-warming character. Spotted him a few times as a kid at Maine Road. It took me years to understand the above chant!!!

On his heart problem: 'He said, "What stresses you out?", I said, "football", he said, "What team do you support?", I said, "Manchester City". He said, "That's it."'

RIP Eddie a big blue and always proud of it. Think he showed his class by being polite and a true gent during one of those 'gotcha' type wind-ups being goaded with rag comments. A genuinely talented and funny guy and never got the critical acclaim he was worthy of for various reasons.
