Yeah, I heard it mentioned during the commentary of the Villa game last night. Same age as me; that's a sobering thought.

same age as me too - AND I took a fall last night - no drama but kind of makes me think how easy

What were the circumstances around his fall, anyone know?

Always liked him as a player, him, Withe and Morley were excellent as a front three. Those were the days when you wanted other English teams in Europe.
As other have said 63 is no age, it makes you aware of your own mortality when players you watched when you were younger start going and he was 12 months younger than me.

That's really sad. Always looked like the football came really easily to him and a really fun boyish vibe to him.One of my favourite non City players.Think he had a lot of knee trouble.
